This role is field-oriented, requiring travel to multiple sites, mentoring field teams, and implementing comprehensive safety programs to ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated safety leadership in heavy civil construction.
• Experience on roadway, bridges, utilities, or water facilities projects.
• Willingness to travel to active jobsites across the Western U.S.
• Strong communication with field and leadership teams.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices.
• CSP or ASP, CHST/OSHA 500/510 or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety operations across multiple heavy civil projects.
• Travel to jobsites across the Western U.S. to support field teams.
• Partner with operations leadership to drive safe work practices.
• Conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations, and coaching.
• Develop and implement safety programs, procedures, and training.
• Mentor safety professionals and project leadership.
• Assist with OSHA compliance, documentation, reporting, and corrective action.
• Promote safety as an operational advantage.
