Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth is seeking a Safety Manager to join the team and lead safety on major infrastructure projects.

This role partners with project managers and superintendents to uphold the highest safety standards, drive compliance, and minimize risk across assigned sites. The successful candidate will bring 4+ years of field safety experience in construction, OSHA 30 certification, and strong knowledge of safety regulations, with regional travel to support multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of field safety management in construction.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations (federal/state/local).

Responsibilities

• Administer and enforce the Corporate Safety & Health Program on-site.
• Maintain and enhance project-specific safety documentation.
• Coordinate and lead pre-construction safety planning with subcontractors.
• Review and approve subcontractor safety plans and hazard analyses.
• Conduct regular site safety evaluations and track corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training (OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER, etc.).
• Travel regionally to support multiple projects as needed.
