Job summary

L7 Construction, Inc. in Central Florida is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and maintain a safe, compliant work environment across multiple project sites.

You will travel to job sites, conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure proper PPE usage while upholding company safety policies. The role requires coordinating safety documentation, incident investigations, onboarding safety training, and promoting a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety requirements and compliance.
• Experience in construction or a related safety role preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to travel between Central Florida project sites.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to Central Florida project sites to monitor safety practices.
• Conduct routine and scheduled job site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and adherence to safety procedures.
• Assist with incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and follow-up actions.
• Maintain safety logs, reports, training and incident records.
• Coordinate safety documentation and ensure records are complete and up to date.
• Assist with new hire safety orientation and training.
• Support ongoing safety training and reinforce safe work practices.
• Monitor sites for OSHA compliance and company safety policies.
