Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver''s license.
• At least 2 years'' experience in a Safety position in heavy construction.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 30 Hour Certification.
• Ability to interpret evaluation results/feedback and adjust to improve safety.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-through inspections of field job sites to identify hazards and unsafe acts.
• Organize and prepare safety meetings and training.
• Ensure employees follow safe work procedures and OSHA training.
• Anticipate and evaluate hazardous safety conditions and environmental risks.
• Make recommendations for correcting unsafe conditions and actions.
• Respond to and conduct accident investigations and case management.
• Administer the safe permitting process (Lockout/Tagout).
• Partner with HR and site leaders on employee issues and concerns.
