Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of construction safety, construction safety training, or a role performing construction.
• A related bachelor's degree or two years of construction safety experience.
• Valid Florida driver license with satisfactory driving record.
• Preferred: CSP, CSHO or other safety certifications.
• Preferred: OSHA trainer certification.
• Experience using HCSS Safety or similar safety management system.
• Deep understanding of OSHA, federal, and state regulatory standards.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage electronic/physical files.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
• Perform safety inspections at job sites and locations.
• Monitor hazard assessments and prevention activities.
• Suspend activities posing health and safety threats.
• Conduct safety training and demonstrations.
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Review and analyze work environments to prevent injuries and liability.
• Collaborate with field operations to integrate safety with company strategy.
• Ensure availability of safety equipment and supplies.
• Provide post‑investigation recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
