Job summary

Alterman, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support a safe work environment across active projects. You will conduct training, perform site visits, investigate incidents, and help develop site-specific safety programs to minimize risk and ensure compliance with policies and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in the construction industry focusing on safety, health, or environmental protection.
• Experience in the electrical construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Training, Site Visits, and Hazard Control: Conducts regular safety training, toolbox talks, and daily jobsite visits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Compliance, Policy, and Program Management: Maintains OSHA knowledge, updates policies, and implements site-specific safety programs.
• Incident Investigation and Recordkeeping: Investigates incidents, prepares reports, maintains OSHA records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
