Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Safety Coordinator for the Cincinnati and Dayton, OH area. This role starts as a 1099 contract with potential conversion to a full-time W2 position, requiring field-focused safety leadership across multiple projects.

You will perform inspections, audits, and hazard assessments at job sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate will travel frequently, work in the field, and collaborate with project teams to

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required.
• 3+ years safety experience OR recent Safety Degree graduation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine jobsite inspections and safety audits.
• Monitor project compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Support implementation of site safety controls and PPE programs.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct field observations and safety assessments.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Review jobsite safety performance and documentation.
• Support toolbox talks and safety communications.
• Assist project teams with JHAs and hazard assessments.
• Work closely with supervisors, foremen, and project leadership.
• Promote a proactive safety culture on all projects.
• Travel between Cincinnati and Dayton jobsites.
