Job summary

INTREN, LLC is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee field safety, training, and quality at customer sites. You will conduct inspections, enforce safety rules, and coordinate training sessions to improve performance.

The role includes investigating incidents, providing root cause analyses, and supporting compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards. You will mentor crews, lead toolbox talks, monitor safety programs, and assist in cross-functional safety and quality initiatives across

Qualifications

BA/BS in Risk Management Discipline and 3 years’ experience or minimum of 5-10 years of Foreman or General Foreman experience.
Knowledge of natural gas, electrical or underground/overhead utilities preferred.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, able to work and communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

Perform regular jobsite inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Enforce safety rules and disciplinary procedures; ensure OSHA, EPA and DOT compliance.
Promote safety/quality teamwork and conduct toolbox talks and safety trainings.
Conduct incident and accident investigations and provide root cause analyses.
Monitor safety programs and driver risk management; coordinate with client security where needed.
Assist management with safety and quality audits and investigations.
Develop training records and mentor staff on best practices.
