Job summary

INTREN is seeking a Safety Professional to lead site safety, quality, and workforce training across customer projects. You will mentor teams, conduct audits, and coordinate with operations to promote safe and compliant work practices.

The role emphasizes incident investigations, root cause analysis, and collaboration with field crews and management to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Risk Management Discipline (Safety, Quality, Environment, Criminal Justice) and 3 years’ experience or 5–10 years as Foreman.
• Knowledge of natural gas, electrical or underground/overhead utilities preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular jobsite inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Enforce company safety rules and apply disciplinary procedures when needed.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA and DOT compliance and participate in loss prevention programs.
• Conduct safety and quality audits and assist in investigations with root cause analysis.
• Provide training, toolbox talks, and mentoring to field crews.
