Job summary

INTREN is seeking a leader to own all safety and field training programs, ensuring policies are written, communicated, and followed across sites. You will oversee site inspections, training documentation, and outcomes, while coordinating with management and safety professionals to improve performance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. You will manage program content, budgets, and collaboration with customers as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience within the industry.
• Leadership abilities demonstrated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Reviews work in progress to ensure safety hazards are recognized and addressed.
• Communicates all safety programs to management and safety professionals.
• Develops and maintains a work site review program with safety teams.
• Ensures documentation of inspections, training, and follow-up.
• Analyzes claims and near-misses for trends and communicates findings to management.
• Researches and recommends specialty safety equipment.
• May conduct mock OSHA inspections and interface with customers as needed.
• Oversees writing and content of field training programs and maintains a library of modules.
