Job summary

McKenney’s Inc. is seeking a Project Safety Coordinator to support the safety team across field operations.

You will help ensure project safety accountability, manage accident and fire protection programs, and maintain compliance with company, client, and state/federal regulations. Responsibilities include daily safety huddles, site inspections, coordination with project leadership, incident response, and driving root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3+ years of field experience with demonstrable efforts in project safety.
• OSHA 500 / 510 certification.
• Understanding of construction OSHA (federal or state) and safety expectations.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily flex and stretch.
• Attend GC daily Safety Huddle and respond to safety requests.
• Engage with field personnel to provide safety solutions.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to align McKenney’s safety strategy.
• Report site conditions and risk reduction plans to Sr. Safety Manager.
• Perform multiple construction site walks and pre-task planning sessions.
• Generate safety reports and review violations with onsite leaders.
• Stop work if imminent danger is identified and coordinate corrections.
