Job summary

The ICEE Company is seeking a Route Sales Technician in Birmingham, AL. This role delivers products, rotates inventory, completes invoices, and maintains ICEE machines with minimal supervision.

The position also serves as a Service Technician, attends weekly meetings, and operates with a company-provided vehicle, uniforms, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card. Physical requirements include lifting up to 55 lbs and driving more than 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 70 lbs. required.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and rotate account inventory on daily route.
• Complete invoices and collect payments when required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ICEE machines.
• Clean machines and replace promotional materials.
• Load/unload vehicle and perform daily inventory checks.
• Coordinate with store personnel on new products and promotions.
• Attend weekly service center meetings.
