Job summary

Amrize, a leading building envelope company, seeks a QA Tech Rep I (Roofing Inspector) in the Eau Claire, WI area. This full-time, salary position includes a company vehicle, cell phone, tablet and expense account.

You will inspect roof installations, issue warranties, and train contractors on proper installation while supporting sales reps in the territory. Travel is extensive and physical stamina is essential.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in commercial low slope roofing or quality assurance.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Must be able to pass physical agility test and background checks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Physically inspect roof installations for quality and workmanship.
• Issue the roof warranty in accordance with the Duro-Last specifications.
• Make repairs to Duro-Last roofs.
• Conduct on-site training classes and offer guidance to contractors in proper roof installation.
• Provide support to Duro-Last contractors and sales reps in territory.
• Schedule inspections and repairs and prepare reports for warranties.
• This is a physically challenging position that requires bending, lifting, pulling, climbing, etc.
• Other job duties as assigned.
