Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Assurance Technical Representative I for a field-based role in the Kansas area, supporting Duro-Last Roofing products. This full-time salary position includes a company vehicle, cell phone, tablet and expense account, with a focus on warranty and technical services.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in construction or roofing QA, strong inspection skills, and the ability to travel regionally. A valid driver’s license and computer literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in commercial low slope roofing, construction, roof inspection or quality assurance.
• Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to read and comprehend roofing specifications.
• Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to do extensive regional travel.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test, drug screen & criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical inspections of commercial roofing applications.
• Investigate leaks and perform small repairs to stop leaks.
• Assist in completing larger warranty repairs in the region.
• Train licensed roofing contractors in proper application techniques.
• Educate customers on specifications required for warranty eligibility.
• Develop strong customer relationships and confidence.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Stay informed on current business initiatives and contribute accordingly.
• Communicate with customers and balance expectations on service calls.
• Prioritize workload and manage multiple inspections.
• Promote safety culture and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
