Job summary

Duro-Last Roofing, part of Amrize Building Envelope, seeks a QA Tech Rep I (Roofing Inspector) in the Columbus, Ohio area. This full-time, year-round position includes a company vehicle, cell phone, tablet and expense account.

Responsibilities include inspecting installations, issuing warranties, performing repairs, and training contractors. Heavy lifting and travel are required; candidate must pass agility, drug screen and background checks.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in commercial low slope roofing, construction, roof inspection or quality assurance is highly desirable.
• Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation and communication skills are necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to pass a physical agility test, drug screen & background check.

Responsibilities

• Physically inspect roof installations for quality and workmanship.
• Issue the roof warranty in accordance with the Duro-Last specifications.
• Make repairs to Duro-Last roofs.
• Conduct on-site training classes and offer guidance to contractors in proper roof installation.
• Provide support to Duro-Last contractors and sales reps in territory.
• Schedule inspections and repairs and prepare reports for warranties.
