Job summary
CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leader in commercial/industrial roofing, is seeking an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support Sales Representatives in the greater Charlotte area. You will travel to customer locations to inspect roofs and provide accurate information for proposals.
Responsibilities include measuring roofs, estimating materials and labor, and coordinating with the sales team. This role offers Premier Benefits and a competitive starting salary with annual bonus
Qualifications
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel; experience with bid estimating software preferred.
- General construction or roofing background; experience in construction sales is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
- Able to climb ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.
- Experience with roofing systems (THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS) preferred but training available.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to inspect commercial roofs.
- Communicate with customers and identify problem areas during inspections.
- Measure roofs and estimate material and labor needs for re-roofing.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate information for proposals.
- Occasional overnight travel during the week.
