Job summary

Palmetto Rock Services, Inc. is seeking a capable Driller to join our Operations team in Augusta, GA. You will operate drill rigs, inspect equipment, and follow safety and drilling specifications on diverse project sites.

Candidates should have experience with heavy equipment or be willing to train, hold a valid driver's license, and be prepared to travel across the Southeast. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience running heavy equipment preferred — willing to train.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• OSHA & MSHA training preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post shift inspection of equipment.
• Operate the drill safely per manufacturer specifications.
• Drill holes to the correct depth based on blaster layout.
• Fill drill logs accurately and report issues daily.
• Report drill footage and hours to project management.
• Train on multiple drill rigs.
