Job summary

Palmetto Rock Services, Inc. in Augusta, GA is seeking a Laborer to perform a range of physical labor tasks at construction sites. The role requires readiness to work outdoors, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a clean, organized work area.

You will dig trenches and backfill, help level earth to spec, and assist with traffic control and site safety inspections. Weekend and overtime flexibility may be required to meet project needs.

• Accountable for conduct with excellent attendance.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction site to eliminate possible hazards.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill, compact and level earth to specifications using provided hand tools.
• Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
• Perform safety inspections of work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned
