Brightpick is expanding its robotics field service team to support on-site client installations, troubleshooting, and training across North America. This role requires hands-on mechatronics skills, PLC familiarity, and strong communication to ensure Brightpick solutions run smoothly at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Baseline robotics and mechatronics knowledge.
• Basic robot and PLC programming experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical tools, meters and electrical test equipment.
• Cursory knowledge of networking and automation communication network topologies.
• Troubleshooting or providing remote troubleshooting support for electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of machine learning, AI, vision sensors, AMR, 3PL, Jira is a bonus.
• Experience in a similar technical role; warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% mostly in North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform field troubleshooting and root cause analysis; resolve client issues in the field.
• Provide L1 technical support for production issues; coordinate with L2/L3 teams.
• Communicate effectively with customers and client teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation for daily operations, bugs, issues, and improvements.
• Respond with urgency to client issues; prioritize by severity; escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with SMEs to learn training curriculum and deliver in-person training at client sites.
• Support internal projects and demonstrate the system to potential clients at HQ or trade shows.
