Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Engineer in AR TD to lead end-to-end deployment of industrial automation across North America Stores operations. You will oversee planning, installation and launch of robotics platforms, coordinating with hardware, software, and operations teams to ensure successful go-lives.

The role requires strong electro-mechanical and network skills, and willingness to travel up to 75% of the year across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Proven ability to deploy and support large-scale automation systems.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ to meet project needs.
• 5+ years troubleshooting robotics or complex electro-mechanical/networked systems.
• 5+ years in deployment project management for large-scale robotics.
• Experience reading CAD drawings for deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage tactical deployment of large-scale automation technologies from alpha to GA.
• Coordinate onsite installation and acceptance testing to hit go-live dates.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers, and site teams to refine deployment docs.
• Improve operational metrics and team processes through automation and optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead on-site deployment activities.
