Job summary

Charge Robotics is seeking a Robotics Factory Operator to run, troubleshoot, and improve our in-field robotic solar-farm installation system. This full-time role involves operating software for a fleet of delivery vehicles on solar sites across the US and close collaboration with engineering and field teams.

You will travel full-time in the field, enjoy a per diem for housing and meals, and join a fast-moving startup that aims to accelerate climate solutions through automation.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree in CS, ME, EE, robotics, mechatronics, or related field.
• Familiar with programming, networking, and command line workflows.
• Able to mechanically troubleshoot industrial automation hardware (robotic arms, conveyors, motors, actuators).
• Willing to travel full-time for field assignments with per diem provided for housing and meals.
• Strong team player with safety mindset for field operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the software that runs our robotic factory and fleet on solar construction sites across the US.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document electromechanical issues in the field.
• Assign tasks to field team members to ensure materials are loaded correctly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve factory user experience and build efficiency.
