Job summary

Charge Robotics is hiring a Manufacturing Lead to scale robotic systems for solar farm construction. You will collaborate with design engineers, suppliers, and technicians to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost efficiency of production systems.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, BOMs, and processes while expanding manufacturing capacity at the SF Bay Area HQ. Relocation to SF Bay Area is required.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years building electromechanical products from prototype to production.
• Experience with metal fabrication, rigging, and heavy machinery.
• Ability to read and create mechanical drawings and manufacturing docs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead production scaling of robotic systems for solar farm construction.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing docs, drawings, and BOMs.
• Support supplier qualification, incoming inspection, and quality initiatives.
• Drive faster, scalable production deployment of our robots.
