Job summary

Charge Robotics is hiring a Robotics Factory Operator to run and troubleshoot our fielded robotic solar installation system. You will operate the software powering the factory and fleet on U.S. solar sites, and document electromechanical issues in real time.

You will coordinate field tasks, ensure proper material loading, and work with engineering to improve usability and efficiency while following stringent safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree in CS, ME, EE, robotics, mechatronics, or related field.
• Familiar with programming, networking, and command line workflows.
• Able to mechanically troubleshoot industrial automation hardware (robot arms, conveyors, motors, actuators).

Responsibilities

• Operate software for the robotic factory and fleet of delivery vehicles on solar construction sites across the US.
• Troubleshoot and document electromechanical issues encountered in field operation.
• Assign tasks to field team members to ensure materials are loaded correctly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve factory UX and build efficiency.
