As a Field Robotics Engineer, you will ensure reliability and uptime of robotic installation machines at utility-scale solar projects, lead field data collection, diagnose issues, and support onsite operations such as operator training and machine logistics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience, including field experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, with weeklong stays required.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills for diagnosing complex technical issues.
• Adaptability to fast-changing conditions and evolving project requirements.
• Ability to work independently in the field and in person at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and uptime of deployed robotic systems by monitoring field performance and fixing issues onsite.
• Conduct testing and validation of the robot fleet, capturing performance data for improvements.
• Operate, maintain, and enhance field testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver updates that improve performance and project success.
• Provide up-to-date technical documentation and training procedures.
• Deliver structured training to external partners for safe use of robotic machines.
• Build detailed project schedules reflecting field performance and milestones.
• Represent the company when engaging with external partners and customers.
