Job summary

Field AI in St. Louis, MO is seeking a proactive Field Application Engineer to support deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of our robotic systems, including drones and legged platforms. This part-time role (20 hours+ per week) involves frequent travel across the United States and requires an up-to-date passport.

You’ll work onsite at our St. Louis location with occasional travel to project sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
Strong communication and ability to translate technical topics.
Willingness to travel frequently across the country.
Passport and REAL ID preferred for travel access.

Responsibilities

Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field, support testing and data collection.
Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
Facilitate smooth, clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to continuous workflow improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability.
