Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a field-focused technician for the ONR Expeditionary Robotics team. You’ll modify, operate, test, and repair unmanned systems (USV/UGV/sUAS) in lab and field environments to support experiments and training exercises.

An active Secret clearance is required. Applicants must hold an FAA Part 107 drone license, be willing to travel 35%, and endure extended hours in austere conditions while learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA Part 107 drone license.
• Able to operate in austere environments for extended hours.
• Willingness to travel 35% and participate as a role player in exercises.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems in lab and field.
• Able to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair unmanned systems (USV/UGV/sUAS) in lab or field.
• Assist with inventory, packing, and movement of equipment for experiments.
• Provide feedback to developers on usability and applicability of tested tech.
