Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a field-ready technician for the Code 34 ONR Expeditionary Robotics team. The role involves training government civilians, contractors or active-duty military units, and traveling to diverse locations to assist in experiments and training exercises.

A SECRET clearance is required for access to classified information. You will work with USVs, UGVs and sUAS, diagnosing issues in lab and field settings, and supporting maintenance, testing and feedback to developers to

Qualifications

FAA Part 107 drone pilot license.
Ability to operate in austere environments for extended hours.
Willingness to travel and work in the field.
Ability to diagnose technical problems in lab and field settings.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

Possess user and instructor knowledge of USV/UGV/sUAS.
Modify, maintain, operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair unmanned systems at lab or field level.
Assist with inventory, packing and movement of equipment for experiments or field exercises.
Provide feedback to developers on usability and applicability of tested technologies.
