Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer II to oversee end-to-end deployment of industrial automation technologies across Amazon's Stores network. You will lead on-site installation, integration, and go-live activities, collaborating with hardware engineering, product teams, and site operations to ensure safe, high-quality deployments.

You will travel frequently, up to 75% or more, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to optimize deployment processes and performance across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration experience.
• 5+ years of Linux experience.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience.
• Experience in Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple deployments of a single technology across sites or oversee multi-technology deployments within one site.
• Coordinate installation and acceptance testing to hit go-live dates.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, PMs, product managers, and internal customers to convert requirements into deployment documents.
