Job summary

Tennant Company is seeking a Robotics Automation Success Technician – Post Deployment Specialist in Minneapolis to deploy and optimize Tennant robotic solutions across the customer journey. You will be a field-based SME from pre-sale demonstrations through installation, training, and ongoing usage optimization.

The role partners with Sales, Service, Business Development, and Customer Success to ensure solutions are properly deployed, utilized, and delivering measurable value for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field plus field experience.
• Ability to travel at least 30% and work in customer environments.
• Minimum 3 years of robotics or related technical experience.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, operating, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customers.
• Experience collaborating across sales, service, and success teams.
• Comfort with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot for workflows.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and support robotics demonstrations, pilots, and events at customer sites.
• Configure and operate robotic equipment during deployments and tests.
• Install, set up, and validate autonomous operation in customer environments.
• Provide customer training on operation and maintenance of robots.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Customer Success to ensure adoption and value.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and escalate as needed.
• Capture feedback and contribute to deployment documentation.
