You will work under direct supervision, performing inspections of traffic control, materials, and methods, and review contractor reports to ensure conformance with specifications.

The role requires reading construction plans, basic math, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Domestic/international travel may be required, with travel typically 20%–40% of the time.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under direct supervision.
• Review daily contractor reports and QC procedures for conformance with the approved plan and procedures.
• May perform sampling and in‑place testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt pavement.
