Southeastern Land Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Right-of-Way Agent to support land acquisition for utility and infrastructure projects.

In this field-based role, you will work with property owners to secure easements, rights-of-way, and acquisitions while coordinating with project teams and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include negotiating with landowners, researching titles, presenting offers, and documenting communications in digital records.

Qualifications

• Active real estate license in South Carolina or North Carolina.
• Active notary commission in South Carolina or North Carolina.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
• Reliable vehicle and ability to provide a computer with Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and a printer.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate easements, rights-of-way, and property acquisitions with landowners.
• Research property ownership, titles, and parcel information.
• Present offers and explain project impacts clearly and professionally.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers.
• Document communications and transactions in digital records.
• Follow client guidelines and project requirements.
