Southeastern Land Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Right-of-Way Agent in Charlotte, NC, to secure easements and land acquisitions for utility and infrastructure projects.

This field-based role involves interacting with landowners, presenting offers, and coordinating with project teams while maintaining precise records. You will research titles, verify parcel information, and ensure communications and transactions follow client guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active real estate license in South Carolina or North Carolina.
• Active notary commission in South Carolina or North Carolina.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
• Reliable vehicle and ability to provide a computer with Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and a printer.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate easements, rights-of-way, and property acquisitions with landowners.
• Research property ownership, titles, and parcel information.
• Present offers and explain project impacts clearly and professionally.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers.
• Document communications and transactions in digital records.
• Follow client guidelines and project requirements.
