Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Rigging Field Superintendent for the SCGT portion of a major Pecos, Texas project. You will lead crane and rigging activities onsite, coordinate crews, and ensure work is safe, compliant, and on schedule.

This role requires strong leadership, extensive field experience with cranes, and the ability to resolve constructability issues with engineering and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 8–10 years of field experience or 12–14 years without a degree.
• Experience delivering a power plant as Rigging Superintendent is preferred.
• Strong leadership of craft labor and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of crane and rigging standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite rigging and crane activities for SCGT project.
• Coordinate manpower and qualifications with superintendents.
• Ensure safe execution per SWPPs and codes.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction management, and controls.
• Monitor schedule, budget, and quality performance.
