Job summary

GateSource HR is partnering with a key client to hire a Project Implementation Engineer to lead deployment of advanced radio communication systems. The role involves hands-on system integration, staging, field implementation, and ongoing optimization across sectors including public safety and utilities.

The candidate will manage on-site deployments, collaborate with diverse teams, and travel up to 60% to client sites while delivering clear technical documentation and effective troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with RF and/or IP network system implementation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Linux, VMware, and HyperV.
• Working knowledge of network diagnostic tools and protocols (SSH, FTP, packet analyzers, Cisco/Linux CLI).
• Proficiency with productivity and technical documentation software including Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site deployment, staging, and integration of complex RF systems.
• Perform optimization, diagnostics, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for each project.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Travel to client sites up to 60% for deployment and support.
