Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build relationships with local retailers, educate them about the client’s financial services program, and maximize program value across your territory. This field-based role requires daily visits, independent work, and strong customer focus.

You will travel within the assigned territory, visit 22–35 retailers daily depending on geography, and collaborate with leadership to achieve territory goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate merchants on client financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain in-store point-of-sale materials and branding.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet territory goals and coverage expectations.
