Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build retailer relationships, increase program visibility, and support business growth across your territory.

This field-based role involves daily travel to local retailers, educating merchants on client benefits, placing POS materials, and ensuring a strong customer experience at each location. You will work Monday–Friday with a focus on results and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months sales, promotions, retail, or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
