Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build strong relationships with retailers, educate on client programs, and drive in-territory growth. This field-based role requires daily retailer visits, independent work with leadership support, and a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.

The position emphasizes traveling across assigned territory, managing a high-volume visit schedule, and placing in-store materials while promoting the client’s financial services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
