2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to visit local retailers within the assigned market, educate merchants on the client’s financial services, and support program growth. This field-based role requires daily travel, strong relationship-building, and professional in-store presence.

The position emphasizes independent work, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a daily route with a focus on delivering a top-notch customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met
