Job summary

Kura Sushi USA is seeking a Recruiter based in Irvine, CA to lead recruiting for hourly and management roles for new store openings and existing restaurants. This role partners with Operations and regional teams, travels to openings, and acts as a subject-matter expert in talent selection.

Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, education and training for managers, and ensuring legal compliance. The position requires frequent travel and onsite presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with HR emphasis.
• Strong background in recruiting and talent selection in restaurants or foodservice is preferred.
• Experience in high-volume recruitment for new store openings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Operations and Recruitment to support hourly and restaurant management recruiting.
• Creates and executes recruiting strategy to achieve hiring goals.
• Conducts education and training on hourly recruiting and selection for restaurant management.
• Maintains recruiting goals and timelines aligned with growth plans.
• Develops sourcing solutions and talent pipelines for current and future needs.
• Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Travels to store openings to recruit and onboard new employees; travel 35%-45%.
