Advanced Agrilytics is seeking a Research Field Specialist to support the research team across Iowa. You will implement field trials, collect data, perform in-field scouting, and assist with data management and evaluation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or related field, at least two years of experience, GIS proficiency, and a willingness to commute to field sites. Master’s degree and on-farm experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree is required in agronomy or a related field.
• Master’s degree in agronomy, research, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in agronomy, research, or related field.
• On-farm experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with GIS tools and data management systems is expected.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to commute to field sites.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the research team and precision agronomists to identify trial site locations.
• Assist in implementing field-scale research trials across the state.
• Collect and manage historical and current data (e.g., planting, as-applied, yield).
• Record observations using GIS tools and technologies.
• Collect plant and soil samples during key growth stages per protocols.
• Support plant processing, data creation, and data entry activities.
• Assist in managing regional research and processing facilities.
• Collaborate with research and data teams on analytics projects to derive insights.
• Provide feedback to improve processes for efficiency and accuracy.
