Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in the Indianapolis area is seeking a hands-on Research Associate to plan and conduct multi-crop field trials, prepare sites, apply treatments, maintain plots, and oversee harvest and closeout with safety and data integrity in mind.

You will collaborate with scientists and technicians, adapt methodologies as needed, operate equipment, collect and organize field data, and support demonstrations to connect research with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Science or related discipline, or 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience conducting field trials and completing field activities (planting, treatment application, maintenance, sampling, harvest).
• Ability to work with minimal guidance, analyze results, and make evidence-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct field research trials: site prep, planting, treatment application, crop maintenance, sampling, harvest, and closeout.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot agricultural equipment; ensure data quality and safety.
• Coordinate field activities with scientists, interns, contractors, and partners across multiple locations; document and report field data.
