Job summary

GDM Seeds is seeking a Research Technician to execute field operations at corn and soybean sites in Indiana. You will assist in planning trials, collecting accurate data, and managing seed inventories while operating research equipment safely.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to quality standards, and commitment to safety protocols throughout the growing season.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Agronomy or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to travel 40 nights per year.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational and testing activities at corn and soybean research sites.
• Plan, implement, and maintain field trials with accurate data collection.
• Manage seed inventory and ensure safe operation of research equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain data integrity.
• Supervise seasonal staff for safe and efficient operations.
