Job summary

GDM Seeds in Indiana is seeking a temporary seasonal Seed Field Assistant to support research and field operations at our Fort Branch site. This role includes hands-on tasks in seed packaging, planting, pollinating, and data note taking.

You will work with a team on field experiments, scouting, weed control, and harvest activities, with hours extending outdoors as needed. You must be authorized to work in the US; minors under 18 need an employment certificate.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Eligible minors under 18 must have an employment certificate.
• Ability to work Monday– Saturday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in seed packaging, planting, pollinating, note taking, harvest, and shelling.
• Participate in field experiment activities which includes planting, scouting, and weed control.
• Other duties as assigned
