Rite Rug, a leading flooring company, is seeking a motivated Field Representative in the Wilmington area. The role involves inspecting homes and projects before, during, and after installations, ensuring readiness, coordinating with installers, and verifying quantities of materials.

Salary ranges from $48,000 to $55,000 per year, with a mileage agreement. The position emphasizes safety, independence, and strong communication as you manage daily jobsite visits and client interactions to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Flooring installation experience is a plus.
• Construction experience is helpful.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance; a reliable vehicle is needed.
• Must pass drug test and be subject to random testing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and project managers daily.
• Drive from jobsite to jobsite, planning and prioritizing each day.
• Schedule work to be done efficiently.
• Determine the best method of installations and repairs.
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Respond to complaints or questions regarding installations.
• Pickup and deliver materials as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary based on experience.POSITION SUMMARY:Our Field Representative’s primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding. They are field measuring and checking work orders to make sure we have the right quantities of materials ordered and we have materials to cover all the areas in the installations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basisDrive from jobsite to jobsite – planning and prioritizing each daySchedule work to be done in an efficient manorDetermine best method of installations and repairsEnsure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfactionRespond to any complaints or questions regarding installationsPick up and deliver materials as necessaryPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Have earned a high school diploma or equivalentFlooring Installation experience a plus!
