Rite Rug is seeking a motivated Field Representative to work mainly outside the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. You will verify readiness, oversee installers, and ensure materials and quantities cover all areas of installations.

The role emphasizes field measuring, scheduling, and clear communication with customers and project managers, with a mileage-based compensation plan and salary tied to experience.

Qualifications

• Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Flooring Installation experience is a plus; Construction experience is helpful.
• Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Be able to work independently and problem solve.
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes and projects before, during and after installations.
• Check job readiness and verify installers' work.
• Field measure and check work orders for proper material quantities.
• Communicate with customers and project managers daily.
• Drive between job sites; plan and schedule daily work.
• Pick up and deliver materials as necessary.
• Respond to questions or complaints regarding installations.

Salary based on experience.POSITION SUMMARY:Our Field Representative’s primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding. They are field measuring and checking work orders to make sure we have the right quantities of materials ordered and we have materials to cover all the areas in the installations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basisDrive from jobsite to jobsite – planning and prioritizing each daySchedule work to be done in an efficient manorDetermine best method of installations and repairsEnsure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfactionRespond to any complaints or questions regarding installationsPick up and deliver materials as necessaryPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Have earned a high school diploma or equivalentFlooring Installation experience a plus!
