Job summary

IEM is seeking a Lead Reliability Technician to provide hands-on technical leadership in reliability services across the Southeast. The role focuses on vibration analysis, wireless monitoring, and building a reliability team, while supporting sales with technical expertise.

Initially performing technical services and developing customer relationships, you will progress to managing programs, expanding contracted work, and mentoring technicians, with a potential path to Reliability Manager as the

Qualifications

Vibration analysis on rotating equipment with actionable findings.
Leadership experience in supervising technicians and scheduling work.
Strong communication and ability to present findings to customers.
Proven ability to prepare clear, accurate technical reports.
Working knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Office tools.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally, including overnights.

Responsibilities

Perform and review vibration analysis on motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
Install and manage wireless vibration monitoring systems and alarms, and analyze data.
Lead reliability program planning, route development, and customer kickoffs; expand programs.
Develop and coach reliability technicians; ensure data quality and timely reporting.
Support sales with technical input and identify opportunities for additional services.
