Job summary

Medartis is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to serve as the subject matter expert on coverage, coding, billing, and payment for our medical device portfolio. The FRM will educate providers and internal teams, support prior authorizations and appeals, and remove access barriers to enable product utilization.

You will collaborate with Sales, Market Access, and Revenue Cycle teams, traveling up to 25% to train staff and providers and ensure CMS and payer policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of reimbursement, revenue cycle, coding, or payer experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes.
• Understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding (Cat III CPT codes and transitional passthrough preferred).
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on coverage, coding, and payment requirements.
• Support prior authorization, appeals, and denial resolution processes.
• Identify reimbursement barriers and develop strategic action plans.
• Conduct on-site and virtual training for physicians and billing staff.
• Partner with Sales Representatives and Regional Managers.
• Communicate payer trends and market feedback internally.
• Maintain current knowledge of CMS and commercial payer policies.
• Ensure all activities follow healthcare compliance standards.
