Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on access and reimbursement for specialty medications. This role requires traveling within a territory including Indiana, Michigan and Illinois, with frequent in-person visits to offices and payers to resolve coverage barriers.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, appeals, and extensive travel experience. A PACS certification within six months is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist preferred.
• Previous experience working in healthcare directly resolving pharmacy benefit access issues.
• Experience with extensive travel.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers and their staff on access and reimbursement topics using client-approved resources.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement and coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with client’s reimbursement support services.
• Travel weekly within the designated territory, including potential overnights.
• Deliver educational presentations at provider sites on reimbursement topics.
