Job summary

Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to navigate payer landscapes and minimize barriers to access for our rare disease portfolio. You will educate HCP offices, billing staff and coordinators to secure timely therapy access.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, develop strategic plans, and act as the regional reimbursement expert, traveling as needed and collaborating with patient services on case management to ensure compliant, efficient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years in healthcare/pharma/biotech.
• 3+ years with buy-and-bill and/or specialty pharmacy networks.
• 3+ years field reimbursement experience.
• Understanding of medical/pharmacy benefit design and coverage criteria.
• Experience with prior authorization and related billing & in-office support.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to field-based work.
• Proficient with CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams on territory planning and payer policy.
• Serve as reimbursement subject matter expert for regional access.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to improve access knowledge.
• Collaborate with OneSource Patient Services on case management needs.
• Identify and communicate payer policy shifts and denial trends.
• Coordinate with partners and attend internal meetings as requested.
• Maintain documentation and reporting in CRM and approved systems.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
