Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead reimbursement education and support for a Fort Worth, TX territory. You will educate offices on benefit investigation, prior authorizations, and claims guidance, while coordinating with manufacturers and internal teams to ensure optimal patient access.

The role requires travel, strong presentation skills, and deep knowledge of Medicare and commercial coverage. Remote work is allowed with extensive field visits and CRM-based accountability.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience with Medicare and Commercial insurance coverage.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and virtual meeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff on reimbursement challenges and services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
• Support case management, billing/coding updates, and patient assistance programs; collaborate with case manager.
• Set up appointments, outbound calls, and coordinate with physicians and manufacturer representatives.
• Monitor territory performance and report trends quarterly to clients.
• Compile provider/manufacturer information for reimbursement databases and maintain FRM CRM records.
